Big Island VIP LLC is committed to providing five-star service to all guests.  We promise an incredible Big Island experience but unfortunately cannot control the weather.  While the Big Island is paradise, even in paradise it can rain!  We do provide ponchos and umbrellas and pride ourselves in being able to get customers out of the rain most of the time.

Please provide your cell phone number and local accommodations so that we may contact you in the event of last minute itinerary changes or cancellations due to weather or emergencies. While cancellations and changes are rare, we are usually able to accommodate everyone as long we have a way to contact them.

Transportation is provided in an 11 passenger Mercedes Sprinter van with DVD media and air-conditioning.  Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult and must have proper safety seats as required by Hawai’i state law (booster seats or 5 point seats can be provided only upon request at time of booking).  We do not provide infant seats, Hawaii State law says 2 years old and under should be in a rear-facing seat, please bring appropriate safety seats for 2 year old and under.

We understand that circumstances change and you may need to cancel your reservation.  Full price will be charged for cancellations and “no shows” unless we receive prior notice 72 hours in advance unless in the case of force majeure.  72 Hours or more notice 100% refund.  Under 72 hours to 48 hours 50% refund.  48 Hours or less no refund.

We take pride in the fact when the pandemic took hold and plans around the world changed we were able to give everyone a full refund.  I doubt there are very many companies that did that.  We were so booked for 2020 we would have had a record year.

With cruise ship customers there are obviously other factors like force majeure, if a ship does not make it into the Port of Call, we provide 100% refund in those instances.

If the cancellation is due to your cruise ship not arriving in port, we will issue you a full refund.

A Visa, MasterCard or American Express card is required at the time of booking with payment being processed at the time of booking.  We also offer deposits to hold a date 120 days out or more.  Full payment needs to be made 60 days out or you may forfeit your day.
