Jodi was exceptional and we would highly recommend her. This tour is well thought out, yet is very flexible to accommodate any changes. Jodi’s local expertise allowed our tour to enjoy what Hilo has to offer without dealing with large crowds. We were a group of 8 and were all very comfortable in her Mercedes vehicle which not only made for a comfortable ride, but allowed for great views on drive alongs. If you are considering booking a tour in Hilo, book Jodi early so that you are not disappointed.

Jodi was a great guide for our group of 10…. she’s personable, knowledgeable and accommodated our every request! The Volcano National Park was closed but the places we visited with her were equally as breathtaking! Awesome tour!

Due to the recent volcano eruptions, Rob recommended that we take the Unvolcano tour which turned out to be a great mix of just about everything there was to see and do while in Hilo. Rob is a great guide and extremely knowledgeable. First class accommodations and willing to adjust and customize the tour based on what we wanted to accomplish. I would highly recommend him.

We had a great time with Jodi. We had to make new plans since Volcano National Park was closed, but we enjoyed all the sights that she took us to. Her husband, also a tour guide, met us at Akaka Falls with fresh cut pineapple. What a treat. The van was perfect. Very clean and roomy for our group of 7. Much better than the large tour buses. I will recommend Jodi and tours by locals to anyone looking for a tour group. I plan to check them out on my next trip as well.

In spite of the fact that Volcanos Natl Park was closed when we just visited (and apparently may continue closed for a couple more years), we had a really great day with Jodi and saw/did plenty of other things that made our day trip over from Oahu well worthwhile. Weather turned out great and Jodi was very pleasant/easy going and willing to adjust the day as we wished. Both the adults and kids in our little group thoroughly enjoyed her and the entire day. Rob picked us up at our cruise ship on time. He stopped at off the beaten path food havens. Went out of his way to avoid rainy weather and the other tour buses. He provide snacks and beverages. His knowledge of the history, land, people was informative. He went out of his way to make a memorable day.
